Where's Wally Event in Tenjin

I'm skipping chronological order because today's event was way too fun! Basically, I ended up dressed like this guy:

Depending on which part of the world you're from (and how much you like finding things), you'd recognise this as the Where's Wally or Where's Waldo costume :D

Huis ten Bosch is aiming to grab the Guinness World Record for the most number of people dressed as Wally on Sunday (9th October - do go if you can. We have discounts for those who came in costumes and a free costume option (no discount for same day purchase)), so today, about 30 of us were dressed up as Wally and walked around Tenjin and Hakata.

Just a small fraction of Wally
There were basically two things we had to do (apart from the yelling).

1. Give out flyers

2. Hold up this poster:

And of course, smile and wave! It's a little funny how as soon as we saw a child, we'd smile and wave at the kid. Some kids smiled back, but some just looked stunned, probably because there was too much attention from strangers.

And while I didn't have the opportunity to take pictures of us during the walkabouts/handing out flyers, I didn't need to because:

We were on twitter!

Lots of people were tweeting that there was a bunch of people dressed as Wally in _(location)_. We all got a shock when we opened out accounts to check :P

Lots of them were back shots, but they could have just asked and we would have posed for them. I mean, at our final spot, we took pictures with a baby, some kids, and even a couple who were having their wedding shots (to be honest, I want pictures of that).

Oh, and only six of us potential employees went, so it was a good way to slowly get to know a few other people.
